If you're a small business owner, which you probably are (by dint of being on this site), then this article pertains to you. Levion has created free software that finally brings QuickBooks from your desktop to the Internet and any internet-capable device you might own. Yes, there is a QuickBooks online, but according to the QuickBooks FAQ page "QuickBooks Online (QBO) was built cutting-edge Web-based technology, and was not designed to synchronize with the Desktop products." Instead of synchronization, however, Levion provides a completely new platform that syncs in real-time with your desktop version of QuickBooks.
The beauty of Levion is its simplicity. Remote access to your business accounting seems like a problem that should have been solved immediately. No other company, however, addresses this problem. Remote access is essential for faster and better business.
Run by Jason Hung and Jake Gottlieb, Levion began in 2010 and has since grown from an idea into tangible and useful software. Jake Gottlieb, also the founder of Prime Medical Alert, says "he can't believe he used to manually enter his invoices and customer accounts from his iPad to his desktop at the end of every day." The time saved allows you to focus on many of the other pressing aspects of running a small business.
